Test Equipment Design Support Engineer

Are you a Test Equipment Design Support Engineer looking for a position where you will play a leading role in a range of Engineering activities, providing Test Equipment design support to the Manufacturing organisation and broadening your expertise in an international environment. The Test Equipment Design Support Engineer role
For this role, you will be prepared to work autonomously, whilst being a part of the wider Test Equipment Centre of Excellence in Stevenage, Bristol and Bolton, leading the delivery of your work assignments, and actively engaging with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of your outputs.
Test Equipment Design Support Engineer experience and requirements

Ideally degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience of designing product/systems and/or providing support to designs through the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.

Proven experience in the design of one or more of the following disciplines:-

Excellent verbal communication, negotiation and influencing skills with the capability to write clear and concise engineering documentation.

Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team, with an awareness of the challenges and opportunities that this may bring and a passion for innovation and collaboration.

Investigative skills to be able to find the Root Causes of design-related issues and propose robust Corrective Actions.
You’ll manage discreet work packages, preparing bids, controlling costs and delivering solutions so evidence of experience in supporting manufacturing and resolving manufacturing issues is an advantage, but not essential.
