RF Design Engineer
Based in Stevenage
Salary up to £65,000 | Bonus | 14% Pension | Overtime
If you’re the kind of RF engineer who prefers a spectrum analyser in your hand rather than a PowerPoint deck on your screen, this will feel familiar.
You’ll design and test RF circuits from 30MHz to 30GHz. LNAs. High power amplifiers. Filters. Synthesisers. Modulators. Not theory, not academic modelling. Proper component-level design for harsh environments, vibration, EMC, thermal.
You’ll build it. Modify it. Prototype it. Break it. Fix it.
This role sits inside complex weapons systems, so your work does not live on a bench forever. It gets integrated. Proven. Trialled.
We’re looking for someone who:

Has hands-on RF circuit design experience

Is comfortable fault-finding at board level

Knows their way around VNAs, spectrum analysers and power meters

Understands design for manufacture and test

Can move from concept to lab proving without drama
Due to security clearance requirements, you will hold British citizenship or be a dual national with British citizenship.
