Manufacturing Validation Engineer
Our client, a leading defence organisation located in Stevenage, is seeking a Manufacturing Validation Engineer to join their expanding team. This role focuses on the technical validation of external supply chain activities, ensuring the successful delivery of components required for high-rate production.

What You’ll Do as the Manufacturing Validation Engineer:

Lead project Industrial Validation Plan execution and reporting.

Handling a portfolio of suppliers on a day-to-day basis.

Support suppliers to ensure that they develop robust manufacturing systems and control plans, to enable the capability to deliver on-quality, on-time and on-cost in series production.

Undertake Industrial Validation activities such as: Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews in preparation for series production.

Identify and mitigate potential manufacturing & supply chain risks and put in place associated improvement and mitigation plans

Collaborating and supporting a multi-functional team.
Your Qualifications:
- A background in Manufacturing Engineering with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) in aerospace or defence is beneficial.
- Proficiency in validation tools such as APQP, MRL assessments, and Production Readiness Reviews.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with SAP QM systems.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative approach.
