We have a fantastic opportunity for a Lead Integration Engineer, working with a leading global engineering company, where you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects designed to protect the safety of our nation and its allies. About the Lead Integration Engineer Role

As the Lead Integration Engineer, you will be instrumental in planning and conducting integration and compatibility proving activities. Your ability to build strong relationships with various project customers will ensure the successful achievement of design verification and evidence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning the delivery of proving tests to meet the programme maturity milestones and support the timely clearance certification for trial activities.
  • Collaboration with the systems and design teams to derive test requirements that ensure comprehensive system-level test coverage.
  • Overseeing the generation of test instructions, test reports and supporting safety documentation/processes.
  • Integration of multiple variants of missile and launcher subsystems in trials and operational configurations.
  • Supporting the integration of trials test equipment for use across proving activities.
  • Coordinating with design teams to diagnose problems and determine design solutions.
  • Providing support to trials defect investigations and analysis of data as required
  • Defining test and trials equipment requirements

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in electrical/electronic engineering or similar.
  • Good understanding of hardware/software integration and test activities.
  • Familiarity using general commercial lab test equipment.
  • Familiarity using data analysis tools/methods.
  • Experience or personal interest in scripting (e.g. python or similar)
  • The creativity and practicality to work with complex problems and derive logical solutions.
  • Adaptability and innovation in a varied and often fast-paced role.
