Salary:                   Up to £57,000 P/A + benefits (Including overtime, Bonus and Pension)

Hours:                   37 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Team Lead for an Integration and Systems Validation (ISV) team. This role involves spearheading systems integration and validation efforts for digital simulation and experimentation products in a vibrant and expanding sector of a company that are in a position of sustained growth.

The opportunity:

The System Simulation and Experimentation department bring together real products, models, synthetic environments and people throughout the systems life cycle, as well as proving best practice and capability to products throughout the development cycle, in order to ensure the products are fit-for-purpose and delivery. This includes regular work in a brand-new Digital Battlespace Facility, and is often fast-paced covering multiple rapid mini-projects, as well as supporting longer-term products for main projects.

Reporting to the Technical Support Technical Expert, Integration and Systems Validation Team Lead will manage the delivery of Integration and Systems Validation (ISV) support to all department products. Work can include managing the ISV Team to meet the proving/qualification needs, and Test/Proving reporting: on subject such as software functionality, writing test/analysis reports for formal certification, and support to software delivery/release process including certification.

Skills Required 

  • Good understanding of verification and validation
  • Leadership skills, with people management experience
  • Experience of agile principles preferable
  • Ability to understand different system levels
  • Functional or software test/proving experience preferable
  • Dynamic, autonomous and proactive individual
  • Ability to communicate, influence and engage multiple stakeholders
  • Problem-solving mind-set
  • Flexibility/ability to work in a fast-paced environment

You will need to be either a full UK citizen or dual national with British citizenship, as you will need to secure UK security clearance, potentially to DV level in the future.
