Salary up to £55,000 + bonus + 14% pension + paid overtime
If you enjoy test engineering but want a bigger voice in how things are done, this could be the move.
This role is about stepping back from pure execution and shaping the strategy behind production testing. You will define how products are tested, influence diagnostic philosophy, and ensure test coverage is robust before systems reach manufacturing.
It is a genuinely broad position. You will work across development, production, manufacturing and design teams, gaining visibility across the full lifecycle. Not a narrow, lab-based test role, but one where your thinking shapes future products.
We are looking for someone who understands:

Test coverage and diagnostic strategy

Automated Test Equipment concepts

Collaboration with design and manufacturing teams
MBSE exposure would be useful, but strong engineering fundamentals and structured thinking matter more.
There is clear progression here, whether that is technical depth, team leadership or movement into wider systems roles. If you do not meet every requirement, there is support and development available.
You will need to be eligible for UK security clearance, holding British citizen or be a Dual national with British citizenship.
