We are working with a leading global engineering company, who are looking for an Equipment Requirement Authority (ERA). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge military projects, supporting the evolution of complex weapon systems, from laser weapons to naval strike capabilities.
 
The Equipment Requirement Authority Role
  • Manage the development and validation of equipment requirements, ensuring compliance with safety and military standards.
  • Specify technical requirements, work closely with design teams, and oversee verification and validation activities across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
  • Coordinate with national and international Design Authorities, ensuring technical trades are well understood and requirements flow effectively into the supply chain.
  • Facilitate the certification process for weapon systems, supporting trials and delivery phases.
 
What We Are Looking For
  • A strong understanding of engineering design processes and complex hardware systems.
  • Experience in systems equipment qualification, verification, or validation within military, industrial, or high-integrity environments.
  • Direct experience managing teams or leading technical work packages.
  • Knowledge of high-integrity electronics, networking technologies, or mechanical design is highly desirable.
