The Equipment Requirement Authority Role

Manage the development and validation of equipment requirements, ensuring compliance with safety and military standards.

Specify technical requirements, work closely with design teams, and oversee verification and validation activities across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.

Coordinate with national and international Design Authorities, ensuring technical trades are well understood and requirements flow effectively into the supply chain.

Facilitate the certification process for weapon systems, supporting trials and delivery phases.
What We Are Looking For

A strong understanding of engineering design processes and complex hardware systems.

Experience in systems equipment qualification, verification, or validation within military, industrial, or high-integrity environments.

Direct experience managing teams or leading technical work packages.

Knowledge of high-integrity electronics, networking technologies, or mechanical design is highly desirable.
