Are you an electronics design engineer who could be interested in the opportunity to become an EMC Project Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the development and testing of cutting-edge technologies?
The department is split between a test team working hands-on in a state-of-the-art EMC Facility to simulate environments and a highly skilled project consultancy team that is embedded across all projects to ensure good EMC practice & design.
This role is in the EMC Project Team, who support programmes throughout the full engineering lifecycle. It will specifically focus on design for EMC and Radiation Effects. To be successful, you will have significant experience in analogue and digital electronics design with an awareness or specialism in EMC and/or RF systems.
You will focus on providing the project teams with advice and guidance on the design of products to ensure that they meet the EMC requirements. You will also be responsible for designing and producing test plans and bespoke electronic test solutions, and supporting the development of unique test capability for the facility.
As the EMC Project Engineer, you will already have qualifications and experience within Electronics, Electrical, Physics, EMC or similar, significant experience in Electronic Design, development, and delivery, while you will have led electronic design work packages previously. A good understanding of EMC and design. principles would be highly beneficial.
