Electronic Manufacturing Test Engineer
Based in Bolton
Salary up to £45,500 + Bonus | 14% Pension | Overtime
If you can take a complex PCB assembly and diagnose it down to component level, this will feel like home.
You’ll join a fast-paced Electronic Assembly team working across complex systems in development and production. Your job is simple to describe and hard to master. Find out why it failed, prove it, document it, fix it.
You’ll be using oscilloscopes, signal generators, multi-meters and automated test equipment daily. You’ll interpret schematics, generate test instructions, support new test facilities and work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and Design to improve yield and hit programme targets.
This is hands-on electronics engineering in a high-reliability defence environment.
We’re looking for:

Strong electronics test and fault diagnosis experience

Confident component-level PCB troubleshooting

Experience in manufacturing or production test

Ability to interpret schematics and technical documentation

British citizenship for security clearance
RF experience is useful, not essential.
