Configuration Analyst

Location: Bedford

Salary: Up to £40,000 + benefits

We are partnering with a leading aerospace organisation who are looking for a Configuration Analyst to join their dynamic team in Bedfordshire. This is a permanent opportunity tailored for someone with a background in Configuration Engineering, particularly those experienced in defence, aeronautical, or aerospace settings, and familiar with Windchill.

In this role, you will play a key part in applying Configuration Management principles across complex engineering projects, working closely with seasoned engineers to maintain system integrity and support the digital transformation initiatives. You'll be involved in activities such as analysing design changes, maintaining configuration baselines, and supporting digital twin development, all within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

This position benefits from a four-day work week (Monday to Thursday) with hybrid working, typically two days onsite. You’ll need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance, with UK nationality being essential, due to the sensitive nature of the projects involved.

Key skills required include:

Engineering or related degree
Experience as a Configuration Management Engineer
Knowledge of configuration principles, standards, and relevant tools
Familiarity with Windchill PLM and Def-Stan 05-57 standards (desirable)
Strong communication and team skills
Attention to detail and quality focus
