Communications Systems Engineer
Location: Gloucestershire (full time on site)
Salary: £50,000 - £80,000 + 4 day working week, pension

About the Communication Systems Engineer Role
As a Communications Systems Engineer, you will focus on the design and development of SDR system architectures, communication interfaces, protocols, and network topography. Your contributions will be pivotal in delivering innovative solutions that meet the demands of complex mission environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Consult on designing and optimizing SDR system architectures for advanced applications.
- Develop and implement interfaces and protocols for high-performance SDR systems.
- Design and model network topologies, ensuring efficient communication across platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams for seamless systems integration.
- Conduct testing and validation of communication systems.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with SDR architectures and communication protocols.
- Knowledge of network topographies and systems design tools.
- Proficiency in OpenCPI, GnuRadio, Python, C/C++, and Linux environments.
- Clearance Required: DV.
