CAFM Systems Coordinator
Based in Bolton
Salary circa £50,000 + bonus + 14% pension + overtime
Facilities management is becoming a technology problem.
Mobile systems, asset data, workflow automation, integrated platforms.
This role sits right in the middle of it.
We are looking for someone who understands CAFM systems and facilities operations, and enjoys improving the technology that keeps complex sites running.
You will take ownership of the Planon CAFM platform and its mobile capability, shaping how the system evolves across the UK estate.
This is not a support role.
You will influence how the platform is configured, integrated and developed.
What you will be doing
You will act as the technical lead for the CAFM platform, working closely with facilities teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Your focus will include:

Developing and improving the Planon CAFM platform

Enhancing mobile functionality for field teams

Configuring workflows, integrations and system functionality

Translating operational requirements into technical system solutions

Diagnosing and resolving system issues

Supporting upgrades, releases and testing

Improving data quality and system governance

Identifying opportunities for automation and digital improvement
The role sits between facilities management, systems configuration and digital transformation.
What we are looking for
However, you should have experience working with facilities systems or asset management platforms.

Experience with Planon is ideal, but other CAFM platforms are also relevant.
We are particularly interested in people with experience in:

Mobile solutions for field engineering teams
Experience with JavaScript or similar technologies would be beneficial but is not essential.

Package
Salary circa £50,000 depending on experience
Bonus up to £2,500
Pension up to 14% combined contribution
Flexi leave up to 15 additional days
Paid overtime
Hybrid working with 2–3 days onsite
