Test Engineer
Location: Gloucester
Salary: Up to £45,000 (dependant on experience) + excellent benefits
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Test Engineer to join a company that provides systems engineering, software development, training solutions and complex program management for global security, civil and commercial markets.
Test Engineer Role

The team at Gloucester works as a tight-knit group but is very much part of the wider team in the UK and worldwide. We are heavily investing in our Cyber capabilities and research work and need to grow our team.
You will be responsible for performing a range of test or infrastructure engineering tasks across the development life-cycle, applying knowledge of engineering best practices and applying appropriate processes, procedures and tools throughout the development life-cycle.
You will also provide input into estimating/planning, will work under limited supervision to meet customer needs and contribute towards ensuring that project milestones are met.
Test Engineer skills and experience

Education and experience in an Engineering discipline related to Testing and/or Infrastructure.

Testing within our key competencies of Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Intelligence Analytics or Software & Systems Development.

Testing systems developed utilising a number of the following technologies: RF, Networking, Telecoms, Internet and IP-related technologies, Embedded systems and programming, and Cloud technologies.

Developing test support tools or automated scripts using modern languages or scripting.

Working in a test capacity in the areas of COTS Integration and Agile Systems Development.
