Salary:                     Up to £55,000
 
Package includes:
  • Company bonus of up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)

The Software Product Assurance Engineer role:
 
This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference and be able to build a career in Quality. The role will see you work closely with project teams (predominately software) across full delivery lifecycles, to ensure the activities that they are carrying out, and the processes that they are utilising, meet national and international standards.
 
The role will also offer you the chance to support continuous improvement activities across product assurance and software engineering, directly influencing the ongoing success of these functions and how they develop in the future.
 
The team has grown over the last 5 years and works closely with European partners in France and Italy and this new role has been created to accommodate the ramp-up in projects and new business they have secured.
 
Software Product Assurance Engineer Skills and Qualifications required:
  • You ideally have an understanding and background in software development and quality assurance.
  • You have knowledge of software processes including national and international standards and assurance requirements.
  • You will have the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across all programmes
  • You have a collaborative but objective approach with an ability to influence change when required.
  • You can lead Project Quality Assessments, identify risks and critical issues, and provide input to monthly reports.
  • You will ideally have an Engineering Degree, or equivalent, with an understanding of new and appropriate technologies.
  • Experience or knowledge of DOORS, RTC, Rhapsody, MATLAB/Simulink would be beneficial though not essential.
