Salary:                      Up to £45,000 (dependant on experience) + excellent benefits
 
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Integrartion Engineer to join a company that provides systems engineering, software development, training solutions and complex program management for global security, civil and commercial markets.
 
Infrastructure Integration Engineer Role

The team at Gloucester works as a tight-knit group but is very much part of the wider team in the UK and worldwide. We are heavily investing in our Cyber capabilities and research work and need to grow our team.

 
You will be responsible for performing a range of test or infrastructure engineering tasks across the development life-cycle, applying knowledge of engineering best practices and applying appropriate processes, procedures and tools throughout the development life-cycle.
 
You will also provide input into estimating/planning, will work under limited supervision to meet customer needs and contribute towards ensuring that project milestones are met.
 
Integration, Infrastructure & Test Engineer skills and experience
  • Education and experience in an Engineering discipline related to Testing and/or Infrastructure.
  • Experience working with computer systems, networking hardware, security appliances and software.
  • Solid understanding and application of systems and integration engineering principles, requirements analysis and decomposition, system architecture and design.
  • Understanding of virtualisation concepts, especially ESXi, vSphere and associated interfaces/APIs.Linux and/or Windows experience and comfort with Bash shell and PowerShell.
  • Experience/familiarity with deployment tools (mainly Ansible and Terraform).
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools, JIRA/Confluence/BitBucket.
  • Strong networking skills (TCP/IP) and possibly NSX-T.
  • Software development experience or familiarity particularly with Python.
