Salary:                   Up to £65,000 P/A + excellent bonus and benefits

Hours:                   37 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced systems engineering leader, with a strong systems engineering background, ideally within a similar highly technical environment, developing complex products with a requirement for safety and security.

The Head of C2 subsystem is responsible for the development of a C2 product and its integration onto customer platforms. You will lead a team of systems engineers responsible for requirements analysis, co-design of the C2 system with software, hardware, human factors and algorithms engineering disciplines, the proving plan and generation of compliance evidence leading to certification of the product.

What you will be doing

Skills Required 

  • Ideally degree qualified in a STEM subject, such as electronics, mathematics, physics, systems engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Proactive with a mind-set for product line development and systems thinking
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement
  • Systems design / systems engineering experience in complex systems development
  • Experience across the product development lifecycle
  • Applied experience of work package management and people management
