Most engineering roles talk about “impact,” but this one actually delivers it.

A fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to current and future customers, improving robustness, testability and maintainability of an in-service system that matters. Not in theory, but in reality.

Our client is investing, with products and systems evolving, and orders increasing. With expectations rising, this creates space for an FMEA Engineer who wants to do more than just sit in meetings and move diagrams around. You will be getting into the detail, within the system design and involved in making decisions.

What you will be doing:

  • Conducting and owning FMEA across the whole system
  • Challenging and improving system design for robustness and reliability
  • Shaping testability and fault diagnosis approaches
  • Analysing architecture, behaviour and real-world use cases
  • Feeding back from in-service performance to influence future design
  • Getting hands-on in labs, testing, investigating, and proving what works

And let’s be clear…

This role has real impact on what is delivered to customers, current and future, giving you the chance to work independently, tackle genuine engineering challenges, and build serious professional depth.

What you will bring:

  • A solid grounding in Systems Engineering
  • The ability to work across disciplines and challenge constructively
  • Experience or interest in FMEA, testability, or fault diagnostics
  • Curiosity, ownership, and the confidence to ask “why?”
