Salary: £45,000 - £57,000 depending on experience

This is an opportunity for a Systems Engineer, Design Engineer or Technical Lead to step into a role combining engineering, technical project management, requirements, verification and certification.
You will work across complex, high-integrity engineering programmes, collaborating with internal teams, design authorities and external suppliers to make sure equipment is designed, delivered, verified and ready for service.
What you will be doing:
- Managing the technical status and progression of assigned work packages
- Defining clear, accurate engineering requirements
- Working with internal and external Design Authorities to develop solutions and manage technical trades
- Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering, military, commercial and safety standards
- Developing verification and validation strategies across electrical, mechanical, software and system-level requirements
- Preparing equipment and subsystem certification for trials and delivery
- Managing the flow of technical information between suppliers, engineering and procurement teams
What you will bring:
- Experience within an engineering design or systems engineering environment
- Knowledge of high-integrity hardware, networking, electronics, complex mechanical systems or similar
- Experience of requirements, verification, validation or certification
- Experience leading a small team or acting as a technical/team leader
- The ability to manage technical delivery while working with multiple stakeholders
