Engineering Delivery Lead
Location: Stevenage
Salary: Up to £65,000 + 21% Bonus

We’re looking for an Engineering Delivery Lead to take ownership of the technical interface between internal engineering teams and international export customers, delivering complex weapon system integrations onto maritime platforms.
You won’t just support delivery. You’ll shape it.
Working across systems engineering, integration, and programme delivery, you’ll ensure technical solutions land properly, customer expectations are aligned, and contracts are delivered without surprises.
What you’ll be doing:

Leading the technical interface with export customers

Translating complex engineering into clear, usable insight

Aligning multiple engineering teams to deliver against contractual scope

Supporting integration of advanced defence systems onto maritime platforms

Managing technical risk, sequencing, and delivery alignment

Contributing to new business proposals and future export programmes
What you’ll bring:

Experience delivering complex engineering or defence programmes

Background in systems engineering, integration, or project engineering

Confidence dealing with ambiguity, stakeholders, and customers

Ability to communicate technical detail clearly and commercially

Understanding of how engineering decisions impact cost, schedule, and risk
