Experienced CFD Engineer looking for your next aerospace contract?

We’re supporting a high-profile aerospace engineering programme and are looking for a skilled Contract CFD Engineer to join a specialist team delivering advanced aerodynamic analysis across current and upcoming projects.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly integrate into ongoing programmes, take ownership of technical delivery, and operate confidently in a customer-facing environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Delivering high-quality CFD modelling and aerodynamic analysis
  • Working on steady and unsteady external aerodynamic flows
  • Supporting civil and/or military aircraft programmes
  • Developing and improving CFD methodologies
  • Producing technical reports and supporting project documentation
  • Collaborating directly with engineers, programme teams, and customers
  • Managing multiple technical tasks to demanding timescales

What we’re looking for

  • Significant aerospace CFD experience within industry
  • Strong aircraft OML design experience
  • Advanced ANSYS capability, including SpaceClaim, Discovery and Fluent
  • Experience across low-speed, subsonic and transonic flow regimes
  • Strong understanding of aerodynamic performance optimisation
  • Ability to work independently and solve complex technical problems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Desirable experience

  • CFD data generation for certification activities
  • Aircraft performance, stability & control or flight dynamics analysis
  • HPC workflows and automation/programming for ANSYS CFD tasks

Candidates are ideally degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline.

Due to programme requirements, UK citizenship is preferred.

You will need to be a British citizen, and eligible for UK security clearance.
