Thermal Engineer
Location: Stevenage
Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE

The Thermal Engineer Role
As the Thermal Engineer, you will join an exceptional Thermal Analysis Team in our Stevenage office. Here, you will have the chance to work on a variety of technically challenging projects that will push your skills to new heights.

Conduct thermal analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance of various systems and components

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to determine thermal requirements and develop innovative solutions

Design and optimise thermal management systems to ensure efficient operation in extreme conditions

Perform testing and validation to verify the performance of thermal solutions

Offer technical expertise and support to individuals and teams within and outside the organisation
Thermal Engineer Skills Required
-
Degree qualified in a subject relevant to the role or demonstrable equivalent experience.

Good problem solving skills coupled with a sound fundamental knowledge of heat transfer analysis using computational methods and manual calculations.

Experience applying CAE tools (e.g. ANSYS, MATLAB, Python) to investigate heat transfer problems.

Motivated individual who is organised and has strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable:

Post graduate qualification in a subject relevant to the role.

Demonstrable experience leading and managing small teams in the delivery of projects.

Knowledge and experience of methods for managing the thermal performance and validation of mechanical and electronic systems.
You will need to be able and willing to gain security clearance.
