Hours:                   37 hours per week         

Are you a Systems Integration Engineer who wishes to develop your professional and technical skills in developing real time system simulations? If yes, then this could be for you. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integration Engineer who will design and test products in world-leading Hardware in the Loop facilities.

You will work across a number of small project specific teams in supporting product design development, trials preparations and customer deliveries by writing simulations to test hardware and conducting time critical testing that get to the heart of a products operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your understanding of complex systems and the challenges associated with their integration and see the benefit HWIL testing adds to product development.

Typical activities include (but not limited to):

  • Working with experts in Complex functional integration, you will have the opportunity to develop products, facilities, and capabilities to support current and future products.
  • Be part of the team who 'make products work' and bring other teams within a project together.
  • Work within the HWIL facilities, which are world leading and look forward to an additional RF HWIL Facility currently under development.
  • The work is technically challenging, and there will be different challenges every day and adapting is a continuous journey.
  • There will be a number of different development paths, within technical and managerial areas.

Skills and qualifications required from the following:

  • Degree qualified in Electronics, Physics. Systems Engineering, Embedded Software, or similar
  • Experience of at least one of the following areas: software development, complex functional integration, functional chain design, Seeker/sensor design or proving
  • Awareness of software engineering practices such as configuration and change management
  • Appreciation for order and quality in delivery of complex testing

You should be able and willing to gain (UK Eyes only) security clearance, potentially to DV level in the future.
