Base Salary: £35,000 to £42,000 + excellent benefits & 4 day week
Working with a global defence leader, we are currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer to work on complex projects at different stages in their lifecycle across different domains, to strengthen the systems engineering department.
With the opportunity to work across the entire spectrum of systems engineering activities as the successful candidate you will bring knowledge and experience of systems engineering to make a strong contribution to successful project delivery.
As the Systems Engineer, you will work within the project Engineering Team on the development of novel capability in the CEMA and Land Electronic Warfare domains. Reporting to the Lead Systems Engineer and other members of the engineering leadership team, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will support the design and delivery of programmes within the project framework.

Systems Engineer skills and qualifications
Solid understanding of Systems Engineering processes and practices.
Understanding of requirements definition and interface documentation required to support the development and acceptance of solutions.
Strong communication skills, and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner
Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the System Engineering lifecycle
The ability to manage tasks and priorities to ensure that assigned workload is delivered when required.
Interest and willingness to learn about the specific domain, including Radio Frequency technologies, Land Systems integration, and the Electronic Warfare, Force Protection, and Cyber domains.
Basic understanding and willingness to learn system modelling toolsets and methodologies, e.g. SPARX Enterprise Architect, UML, SysML, TOGAF, or similar.
