Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 + Overtime, Bonus, Pension + flexible working
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Support Engineer, working for a world class technical engineering company, who are and growing year on year.
As the Support Engineer, you will provide support for our Armed Forces community. This is a highly varied role; you will have the opportunity to work with different products, across various platforms and working with multiple customers in the UK and internationally.
You will build trusted relationships with a complex array of internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the business reputation is upheld.
Support Engineer key activities
Responsibility for deliveries enabling the Customer to maintain a key weapon capability
Developing working relationships with suppliers, Users and Customers
Dealing with Customer queries, sentencing and progressing issues
Reporting to both company and Customer Senior level meetings
Managing defect reviews and recommendation process
Support Engineer Skills and Qualifications required:
Good interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
Self-motivated team player able to maintain a professional manner in a dynamic environment
Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and respond quickly to technical issues
Experience with Export Control / Intra-Company Logistics / Manufacturing would be preferable but not essential
Engineering background with a degree or equivalent experience
