Subcontract Programme Manager
Location:                 Home based with occasional visits to Havant
Salary:                      £50,000 to £55,000 + excellent benefits
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Subcontract Programme Manager supporting a business who provide systems engineering, software development, training solutions and complex program management for global security, civil and commercial markets
Subcontract Programme Manager Role
  • Oversee the development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialised materials, equipment, and services for subcontracts.
  • You will need to have a complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories and concepts, in the field; for example Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders' conferences, develops evaluation criteria, analyses and evaluates proposals, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes subcontract packages for review, assist with preparing awards and administers resulting subcontracts.
  • Assist with coordinating additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts.
  • Participate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures
Subcontract Programme Manager skills and experience
  • Subcontract Program Management or Program/Project Management Experience, preferably from the Ministry of Defence or other Public / Government Body
  • Able to lead effectively in a multi-functional team
  • Risk and Opportunity management experience
  • Ability to oversee and control scope using change control processes
  • Subcontract management and negotiation experience with supplier performance analysis skill set
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task (position will include program execution and proposal support efforts) across multiple programs/platforms
  • Experience of creating schedules and managing internal parties to the schedule
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience of developing and managing Subcontractor Relationship Management and collaborative working
  • Experience of working with complex international suppliers/ programmes.
Please note
Business and project requirements dictate that you will need to currently hold security clearance to be considered for this position.
