Senior Supplier Performance Manager
Location: Bolton
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 + Bonus, Pension, Flexible working
Working within a world leading, innovative technical engineering organisation, as the Senior Supplier Performance Manager you will join a fast moving, unique, multi-national Function managing the Company Industrial Policy and Supply Chain Management approach.
Working in an international context, you will bring experience and knowledge to ensure effective Supplier performance management. As a team, we work across all programmes in the UK, in a changing environment, managing and implementing both mature and new technologies.
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the evaluation and development of an assigned portfolio of Major Equipment Suppliers to ensure Capability, Capacity and Performance against current and future Domestic and Export programme requirements.

The position will involve working and travelling nationally, potentially internationally, with fellow procurement professionals, with internal stakeholders (internal customers, procurement colleagues, technical and quality experts,) and with key suppliers
Senior Supplier Performance Manager skills and qualifications required:

Leadership experience of a small team

Ideally a degree calibre Supply Chain professional with experience of international working in high technology companies.

Demonstrated ability to improve Supplier Performance using appropriate tools and methodologies supported by excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A proven ability to:

Influence multi-functionally, multi-nationally and at all levels within the organisation

Implement changes when collaborating with internal stakeholders and Suppliers

Develop and implement root cause analysis and improvement plans with Suppliers
-
Preferably experience / knowledge in the electrical components commodity
