Salary:                   Up to £52,000 P/A + benefits (Including Bonus, Overtime, Pension)

Hours:                   37 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for an ambitious, highly regarded, scientific engineering / technology business that are in a position of sustained growth to work as a Systems Engineer within a team that are designing and delivering a key weapon system to the UK and Polish Armed forces. This team are growing due to significant UK and export sales growth.

The Systems Engineering team work to capture and refine customer and systems requirements, identify, analyse, and assess potential solutions, to document the system design and to manage the delivery, integration, and certification of designs to time, cost and quality.

The successful candidate will be comfortable adapting themselves and their approach to the challenge at hand; they will maintain vision amongst complexity and be adept at communicating this vision to drive, engage and influence partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Ideally degree qualified in a technical or science related subject such as electronics, mathematics, physics, systems engineering or aerospace engineering
  • Full Systems Engineering lifecycle experience including:
    • Experience of Requirements management using DOORS or similar
    • Experience of systems design and modelling using tools such UML, SysML, or Rhapsody
    • Experience of test, verification, validation and systems integration
    • Knowledge of operation & maintenance

You should be able and willing to gain (UK Eyes only) security clearance, potentially to DV level in the future. We can only accept applications for British Citizens or a Dual UK national with British citizenship, due to the specific classification of this role.
