Industrial Validation Engineer
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 + Overtime, Bonus, Pension & Flexible working
Working within a world leading, technical engineering organisation, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an Industrial Validation Engineer who will assess and influence development manufacture in the supply chain to allow optimal production readiness. You will take a leading role working with a diverse range of Procurement and Supply Chain professionals and external supply partners. You will bring your professionalism, attention to detail and skills to ensure that there is robust quality and capability in the external supply chain.
Industrial Validation Engineer role:
Manage the project Industrial Validation Plan, e.g. assessing, recording and monitoring supplier capability.
Monitoring/Reporting validation activities through industrial risk registers.
Collaborating and supporting a multi-functional team within the supply chain.
Ensure validation and control activities are diligently performed in order to ensure production readiness.
Undertake Industrial Validation activities such as: Process FMEAs, Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) assessments, Production Readiness Reviews in preparation for series production.
Analyse Supplier non-conformances relating to the Manufacturing System, track to closure agreed improvement/corrective actions.
Industrial Validation Engineer skills and qualifications required:
An organised and diligent Quality or Manufacturing Engineering biased professional, with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques, with a desire to work with project and change management. Capable of supporting suppliers to ensure that they develop robust manufacturing systems and control plans, able to deliver on-quality, on-time and on-cost in series production. The team works towards the development and delivery of the Procurement & Supply chain elements of new product introduction, requiring close working with Design, Manufacturing and Quality organisations.
