Electrical Test Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Technician
Location: Bolton
Salary: £32,720 + Overtime, Bonus and Pension
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Test Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Technician, working for a world class technical engineering company, who are and growing year on year. The role will be part of a Calibration & Maintenance Team, servicing Electrical and Electronic Test Equipment, including Special to Type Test Equipment (STTE) and Commercial Off the Shelf equipment, within a manufacturing facility.
A prerequisite for this role is for you to have completed an apprenticeship.
Electrical Test Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Technician key activities

Working in a multi discipline team to support the Operations team. Responsible for calibration and maintenance, repair and electrical safety testing on electrical and electronic equipment, to agreed time, cost and quality.

Working with the latest advanced test methods and technologies, with sponsored bespoke supplier and in-house training packages.

Working on Special to Type Test Equipment, Commercial Off The Shelf equipment across multiple projects
Electrical Test Equipment Calibration & Maintenance Technician skills and experience

Generate clear and comprehensive calibration & maintenance records.

Experience of calibrating COTS/Special to Type Test Equipment

Be competent in following manufacturer’s instructions.

A good understanding of SAP would be desirable.

Time served apprenticeship essential (or NVQ Level3, C&G/ONC/HNC)

Experience of working on Environmental chambers an advantage.
