Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance Lead
Location: Faslane - Argyll and Bute
Salary: Dependant on Experience + excellent benefits
We are currently recruiting for a global engineering organisation who have an exciting opportunity for a Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance Lead who will be responsible for ensuring maintenance of the businesses ISO9001:2015 certification. You will lead the audit programme, provide leadership and enthusiasm to the operation excellence team as well as assisting management with maintaining and updating the functional excellence plans.
Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance Lead key responsibilities

Accountable to the Training and Assurance Manager for leading the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement function, ensuring the application of industry best practices and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality and continuous improvement goals are met.

This role is the recognised point of contact in the business for all quality and continuous improvement matters.

Responsible for ensuring that the ISO 9001:2015 quality standard and other related standards are maintained across all business activities.

Promote and develop the Comprehensive Assessment Program ensuring all assessment and monitoring activities are recorded and conducting subsequent trend analysis and facilitating any Root Cause Analysis Activity should it be required.

Develop and maintain Continuous Improvement Strategy in support of the Business Excellence Plan. Support leadership in delivering functional excellence plans and lead Structured Improvement Activities.

Encourage and inspire individuals at all levels in the organisation to embrace change and promote Continuous Improvement as a cornerstone of business culture whilst providing coaching and mentoring to Greenbelts.

Responsible for the line management of the CI&QA team

Proven experience of working with in a quality role in a highly regulated environment

Experience in improvement activities

Experience as an Auditor

Green Belt or Black Belt Certified - desirable

Good motivator and leadership skills
